Neapco N2-3-8251X – Ford 28 Spline Transmission Slip Yoke – 1310 Series
The Neapco N2-3-8251X is a steel transmission slip yoke designed for select Ford automatic and manual transmissions equipped with a compatible 28-spline output shaft. Featuring a 1310 series U-joint connection and approximately 6.5" centerline-to-end length, this slip yoke provides a dependable solution for driveshaft repairs, replacements, restorations, and custom driveline builds.
Manufactured by Neapco, the N2-3-8251X features a full-spline configuration, precision-machined 1.500" seal diameter, and 1.219" spline outside diameter. Its conventional slip yoke design is suitable for compatible Ford C4, AOD, AODE, T5, Toploader, and other transmission applications.

Important Fitment Information
Verify transmission output shaft spline count, spline outside diameter, seal diameter, U-joint series, and required slip yoke length before ordering.
Important: This slip yoke uses a Ford-style 28-spline configuration with a 1.219" spline outside diameter. It is not interchangeable with GM-style 27-spline slip yokes.
The spline configuration is commonly described as 27/28 spline because one spline position may be intentionally omitted. The missing position, sometimes called a blind spline, is included in the total spline count.
This slip yoke accepts 1310 series U-joints with approximately 1.063" bearing caps and 3.219" U-joint lockup width.
Proper spline engagement and slip yoke travel must be maintained throughout the suspension's operating range. Ensure the slip yoke does not bottom out in the transmission or lose adequate spline engagement during suspension extension.
U-joint is not included.
