The Kevko Racing K55WA is a standard-length, wide-angle steel transmission slip yoke designed to provide additional U-joint clearance in demanding racing and performance driveline applications. Featuring a 5.5" centerline-to-end length and a wide-angle yoke design, the K55WA offers increased articulation clearance compared to conventional slip yokes.

Designed for 1310 series U-joints and GM-style 27-spline transmission output shafts, the K55WA is an excellent choice for dirt modifieds, sport mods, stock cars, late models, and custom performance vehicles where driveline angles and suspension movement can create clearance challenges.

The K55WA combines a conventional 5.5" slip yoke length with additional clearance around the U-joint, making it an ideal alternative to a standard slip yoke when increased driveline articulation is required without switching to an extended-length design.

Important: Transmission applications depend on the output shaft spline configuration, seal diameter, and available slip yoke clearance. Not all versions of the listed transmissions use the same output shaft.

Important Fitment Information

Verify transmission output shaft spline count, barrel diameter, U-joint series, and required slip yoke length before ordering.

Important: The Kevko K55WA features a wide-angle design intended to provide additional clearance around the U-joint. It does not eliminate U-joint operating angle limitations or the need for proper driveline geometry.

Proper spline engagement and slip yoke travel must be maintained throughout the suspension's full range of movement. Ensure the slip yoke does not bottom out in the transmission or lose adequate spline engagement at full suspension extension.

This slip yoke accepts 1310 series U-joints with 1.0625" bearing caps and approximately 3.219" overall width.

U-joint is not included.
