Steel Drive Shaft for IMCA & USRA Hobby Stocks
The Kevko Hobby Stock Steel Drive Shaft is built from high-quality 2.5" O.D. x .083 wall tubing and is proudly 100% Made in the USA using USA-sourced materials.
Each drive shaft comes standard with a Neapco 1310 greasable front universal joint and your choice of rear u-joint to fit your specific application. Every shaft is precision balanced to deliver smooth, reliable performance on the track.
Finished in white paint to comply with most sanctioning body rules.
Available in standard lengths from 48" to 54-1/2" in 1/2" increments.
Important: Drive shaft length is measured from the center of one u-joint to the center of the opposite u-joint.

Install Slip Yoke
If you already have a slip yoke you plan to use, simply select “No.”
Please note: All Kevko drive shafts purchased with a slip yoke are professionally balanced as a complete assembly before shipping.
Common Hobby Stock Slip Yoke Options
5-1/2" (K55STD)
Our most common option. Affordable, durable, and budget-friendly.
6" (K6STD)
Offers an additional 1/2" of spline engagement and clearance compared to the 5-1/2" yoke.
8" (K8STD)
Commonly used with racing transmissions that allow longer slip yokes and increased suspension travel.
Important:
When upgrading to a 6" or 8" slip yoke, some transmissions may not provide adequate internal clearance. Always verify that the slip yoke will not bottom out in the transmission splines. In some cases, machining of the transmission output shaft may be required for proper clearance.
Select Rear U-Joint
1310 (Long/Short Narrow)
The most common u-joint used with quick changes and Ford 9" narrow yokes.
- Width: 3.219"
- Cap Diameter: 1-1/16"
- Uses Kevko KUBK-13 U-Bolts
1330BC (Long/Short Wide)
Commonly used with Ford 9" wide yokes.
- Width: 3.625"
- Cap Diameter: 1-1/8"
- Uses Kevko KUBK-58 U-Bolts
3R (12-Bolt Rear End)
Typically used in classes requiring stock GM rear ends.
